A cannabis farm worth an estimated £450,000 was uncovered during a drugs raid in Longsight this morning.

One man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis, a spokesman for GMP said. He remains in custody for questioning.Electricity North West attended the property to make the electricity safe and the cannabis has since been destroyed.
