A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 5.50pm on Tuesday 27 June, fire crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Upper George Street, Rochdale.
“One fire engine from Littleborough station quickly attended the scene. The incident involved two cars, one of which was a police vehicle. “Firefighters helped make the area safe before handing the scene over to Greater Manchester Police. Fire crews were in attendance for about half an hour.”
