Delays can be expected from around 8.30am until 10.30am and again at 6.30pm until 8pm

The PSNI are advising motorists to expect delays on Saturday in Belfast due to a number of Apprentice Boys of Derry parades.Held each year on the first Saturday in December, the Shutting of the Gates parade commemorates the actions of the 13 apprentices who shut the City's gates in 1688 and set in place the events which led to the Great Siege.

"The parade will make a return journey back to Malvern Street along the same route at approximately 7.30pm, finishing at 8pm. "The second parade will start at approximately 9.15am from Donegall Road to Sandy Row and finishing at Linfield Road. This parade will make a return journey, beginning at 6.45pm, along the same route, finishing at 7pm.

"The parade will make a return journey at approximately 6pm, from Middlepath Street, Newtownards Road, Dee Street, Pansy Street, finishing on Julia Street at 7pm."
