'People think our cultures are very different but they're not'
The Liverpool European Festival will showcase Poland's longstanding and similar history with Liverpool and its people.
Liverpool's Polish community will play a key role in the festival by offering unique cultural experiences to those who want to discover more about the city's past. The Polish Heritage Tour showcases the shared history of the two cultures and how their people have much more in common than you might expect.The Famous Poles Exhibition explores those with a key part in the country's history, culture and heritage, and their impact from around the world to Liverpool.
Dagmara told the Echo: "People think our cultures are very different but they're not. They don't understand how many things we actually have in common, and how intertwined our histories are. The Liverpool heritage tour is an idea that will bring people together and different people that wouldn't usually be your expected guests.
