Uganda has gone through extraordinary transformations. Until 1972, Ugandan Asians owned the businesses and kept black people out. Now black owned businesses – many run by women – are thriving. It’s full of heart-stopping information. Between 2002 and 2013, 8,200 women died of heart disease because of misdiagnoses. And yet women with various heart conditions are still chronically misdiagnosed and sufferers are 50 per cent more likely to receive a wrong diagnosis even when they’re having a heart attack. Consequently, they have a 79 per cent higher chance of dying.
