The first part of season 4, subtitled"Summer of Adventure," arrived back in April and consisted of 13 episodes. Based on the popular Mattel toy line of the same name, the show places Polly in all manner of magical worlds for kids' enjoyment, all thanks to a magical locket that allows her to shrink herself and her friends.
Polly Pocket has grown so popular on the streaming platform that not only has Mattel released a new line of toys based on the Netflix series, but the broadcast rights have also been sold to over a dozen countries worldwide. The latest set of episodes promises to be a delicious addition to the story, with Polly joining her family and friends as they cook, bake and eat all over Littleton.
Marina has her own problems that need to be dealt with, so of course she thinks Polly and Pierce are warriors who can help the entire Mermaid Kingdom - especially when she sees their transformational abilities. But when it seems they may be trapped there with no way home, Polly must confront whether she's doing her best to help or afraid of splitting up her family. After all, the Pocket Locket first brought her and Pierce closer together, and college may do the opposite.
There's more than mermaids and family farewells awaiting kids and parents who dive into Polly Pocket, though.
