An insurance claim was not upheld following a flood at the premises in Righead Gate
Sharing the sad news on social media, Olympia Pets told customers it was with the "heaviest of hearts" that they had no choice but to close their doors due to financial problems.
Posting on their Facebook page, the Olympia Pets team said: "It’s with the heaviest of hearts that we have had no choice but to close our doors due to a declined insurance claim for the flooding we experienced. "We are all absolutely devastated and will miss you all and wish you all the best. Thank you for everything."
Jenna Brown posted: "Really saddened to hear this. Pillar of EK community! Many a happy memory visiting your shop form a very young age. Wishing you success for the future."
