The rink hosts eight N.J. high school hockey teams and thousands of skaters seasonally
to rebuild the existing rink, located at 1 Park Dr. in Roselle.
The project is set to start by the end of 2023 and estimated to be completed by 2025. Concept designs will include a second sheet of ice to increase the facility’s capacity.. “With the construction of a new state-of-the-art indoor skating rink, we will be able to offer year-round use of the building, attracting even more visitors and leagues.”The rink, which sits adjacent to the park, was renovated and renamed Warinanco Sports Center in 2019.
“The sporting events and recreational skating will be more accessible and more affordable for working families,” state Sen. Joe Cryan, D-Union,
