The pub reopened in 2021
Historic Salford pub, The Black Friar will be running a special menu and giveaway to celebrate its third anniversary since reopening. The pub and restaurant will be putting on a special £33 menu and will be offering over £70k worth of scratch card prizes throughout August.
READ MORE:The ‘hidden gem’ Greater Manchester beauty spot you can only visit once a month - and it’s open this weekend The new menu will feature a selection of brand new à la carte dishes, such as; Harissa spiced lamb meatballs with mint yoghurt, toasted almonds and pomegranate; whole line honey glazed mackerel with horseradish new potatoes and radish salad; the pork tomahawk and baked feta with grilled peaches, chorizo + peach jam; and the, Sicilian lemon tart with burnt buttermilk and lime sorbet.
“At the Black Friar, our main focus is to give back to our local community. We hope that by offering some amazing prizes that our guests will feel the love.”
