The new site will occupy the previous Mount Ellon Golf Club

The West End Garden Centre is set to open a brand new luxury premises in Gartcosh in the coming months.

The new store is currently in the final stages of development and will be opened in March this year, following the regeneration of the land and building that was previously occupied by Mount Ellon Golf Club on Lochend Road.Homegrown has already received funding through the North Lanarkshire Council Business Recovery Growth Fund and has received support from local Councillors.

"We are looking to create a space for the whole community, somewhere to spend the afternoon and enjoy the surroundings.
