Award-winning porn star Raven Alexis died last Wednesday from a life-threatening infection amid a battle with Crohn’s disease. She was 35 years old.
Alexis’ bereaved beau announced that the skin flick star had died at a Las Vegas hospital of “complications” from Crohn’s disease,Specifically, she succumbed to septic shock — when one’s blood pressure drops to a dangerously low level — while her body tried to fight off an infection. Following her independent adult entertainment ventures, the blossoming porn star was hired by production company Digital Playhouse, where she worked from 2009 to 2010.
Alexis earned numerous accolades during her storied skin flick career, notably winning the awards for both the Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene and the Fan Award for Wildest Sex Scene in 2011 for her work in “Body Heat.”
