Gardaí are continuing to investigate the death of a woman in her 40s whose body was discovered in an apartment at Royal Canal Park, Dublin 15, yesterday
Her body was found at an apartment in Royal Canal Park in Ashtown at around 10am yesterday morning.Floral tributes and candles have been left outside the Horizon apartment complex where she lived.
A man aged in his 50s, who was arrested yesterday evening, is still being held at Finglas Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act. State Pathologist Dr Linda Mulligan carried out a post mortem examination on the woman's body today at the Dublin City Morgue. Officers at Cabra Garda Station are renewing their appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
