Leeds United have 11 players away on loan and Daniel Farke would rather not comment at length about any of them in the same way he would not expect Ange Postecoglou to analyse Djed Spence and Joe Rodon's loans

Loan players away from Leeds United will not be commented on by Daniel Farke, much in the way he would not expect Ange Postecoglou to start addressing the German’s team. The Tottenham Hotspur boss has seen Djed Spence and Joe Rodon head to Elland Road on loan for the season, but you are not likely to see him talking about them at length, says Farke.

The Whites currently have 11 players away on loan for the campaign and they are achieving mixed success at this early point in the season. For example, Robin Koch and Max Wober are regular fixtures with their Bundesliga outfits, while Diego Llorente and Rasmus Kristensen have begun to struggle for pitch time with Roma.

Sonny Perkins has struggled for pitch time with Oxford United up to now. The 19-year-old has one start in the EFL Trophy and two cameos from the bench in League One for Liam Manning’s side up to now, though he hasn’t played since September 19 either.Farke had been asked about Perkins’s situation, but he was not interested in discussing what may be happening with the teenager at Kassam Stadium. Farke does at least hope all of his loanees can make the best of their situations.

“In general, I also don't want to talk too much about the players who are out on loan or not with us at the moment because it's then also not my business,” he said. “I also would expect other managers, for example, the Tottenham manager, not to comment about the situation of our players here. “So, for that, I totally respect each and every club has its own business and each and every player has to make sure he's spot on and as successful as possible when he's out on loan. Of course, our fingers are also crossed for our players, that they keep going with good performances, without injuries, but I won’t comment on any decisions of other managers. For that, I've got too much too much respect.
