Courtney Fannon, 29, a special-education teacher at Kendal Central School in Rochester, New York, was found unresponsive in her classroom on Friday, March 8. She collapsed shortly after sending her husband Kurtis a text
In a tragic event, a pregnant teacher passed away after she fell down in her classroom. She was very close to having her baby.
Courtney was going to be a mum soon and had picked out the name Hadley Jaye for her baby girl. She was taken quickly to the hospital where doctors tried very hard to save Courtney and her baby Hadley Jaye. But sadly, they both died.Kurtis made a GoFundMe page to help with costs, and his friend Matt left a very kind message. "The world lost 2 beautiful souls, Courtney Fannon and Hadley Jaye Fannon, long before any of us were ready to live in a world without them," he wrote.
By Thursday afternoon, the GoFundMe had collected an amazing £44,170 for a funeral that is planned to happen in Churchville later this week. "When she wasn't in her classroom sharing her love and gift for teaching with her students, she could be found walking our halls with a smile and a friendly hello."
