Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola is under intense pressure
The first Premier League sacking of the season could be on the horizon after odds were slashed on the back of the weekend’s results. So far in the 23/24 season, the likes of Erik ten Hag, Paul Heckingbottom and Mauricio Pochettino have all been under pressure after poor starts with their respective clubs.
The Cherries are yet to taste victory this season as they are currently in 19th place in the Premier League table after Saturday’s 2-1 defeat by Wolverhampton Wanderers., Iraola said: “We have to be worried. Now it’s a matter of finding ways to win. I haven’t talked with the board but it’s not a matter of my situation.
“All the games not only this one are things that are costing us the wins because even against Forest at the end it was a mistake, today winning and then situations with things. You are going to have mistakes but they are costing us too much.”
