Preston North End have set their sights on signing former Burnley midfielder Jack Cork on a free transfer,The 35-year-old is currently without a club after the expiration of his contract at Turf Moor on Sunday.
During his time at Burnley, the defensive midfielder racked up 267 appearances, won the Championship, and helped the club qualify for the Europa League. The 35-year-old only featured four times as a bit-part player during the 2023-24 campaign, with only 27 minutes of game time.If Preston were able to secure Cork’s signature this summer, they would gain an extremely experienced midfielder who has made 594 appearances throughout his career.
