Despite his health condition, Dayn Montgomery still finds strength each year to carry out charity work.

A nine-year-old boy has been hailed one of Scotland’s Little Champions for his incredible bravery and determination to help others.

But young Dayn, who has complex heart defects, is certainly no ordinary nine-year-old and was nominated for his tireless efforts in donating Easter eggs, Christmas selection boxes, games, and toiletries for children in hospital. And Dayn has even helped raise thousands of pounds for charity as in April he took part in the Hillbillies Motor Cycle Club’s Easter Egg Run just weeks after his heart surgery, helping to raise £3,807 for the charity.
