Here’s how much a pink gin and a Budweiser will cost you at the first of many Pride events happening this weekend
The ECHO has a list of the drinks prices from the bars at the Pier Head for Pride Classical. The event, being held in the city for the first time, will see a host of entertainers take to the stage, accompanied by a 32-piece orchestra, as they perform the best Pride anthems of the last 50 years. Headlining the event is Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears.
A double spirit and mixer will set you back £8.50 or £9.50 if you choose Red Bull, whereas a Budweiser will cost you £5. There are full pints, half pints, cans, wine and soft drinks available. The Pier Head site opens at 5pm, with the show starting at 8pm. It will last for around two hours, with a 30-minute break. The last entry to the event is 9pm.
