The pupil had his stomach pumped

A primary shool has issued a warning to parents after one of their pupils consumed Prime energy drink and had a "cardiac episode".

A text message sent out on Tuesday, May 9, by the school's management said that the school wanted to make others know about the incident, which did not occur on the premises, reports Wales Online.It read: "This morning a parent has reported that their child has had a cardiac episode over the weekend after drinking a Prime energy drink.

The Prime range of drinks was launched in 2022 with the energy drink, which contains 140mg of caffeine, being released the following year.
