I Am Not a Serial Killer, the acclaimed mystery horror thriller from 2016, has just been added to Prime Video.
Co-written and directed by Irish filmmaker Billy O’Brien , it centres around a teenager in a small Midwestern town in the US named John Wayne Cleaver who has been diagnosed as a sociopath and harbours homicidal impulses.
Working at the funeral home his mother owns, John controls his urges with strict rules and by speaking to his therapist .Eventually, John becomes embroiled in a deadly game of cat and mouse with the person responsible for the killings, all the while trying to suppress his own murderous urges. Co-starring Christopher Lloyd and based on the hit novel of the same name by Dan Wells, we would advise not reading too much about the movie ahead of watching it due to its twisty plot.and Hannibal – as well as its strain of black comedy and its incredibly atmospheric cinematography from Irish Oscar-nominee Robbie Ryan make the film well worth a watch.
