The Duke of Sussex attended the Well Child Awards in London yesterday evening and told one of the families why Meghan was not able to attend the show with him.
Prince Harry is back in the UK for the fourth time this year and like every other one of his whistle stop visits in 2023, he yet again made the trip alone.
The 38-year-old royal will only be back in the UK for a matter of hours before he jets off to Germany for the Invictus Games 2023 tomorrow where the duchess will join him later in the week. Addressing the families of sick children, he said: "As a father of two, and three dogs so basically five souls, I'm acutely aware of the many joys and challenges that come with parenting.
The awards show fell on the eve of the first anniversary of the Queen's death, who passed away at Balmoral on September 8 last year.
