Prince Harry turns 40 on Sunday, September 15th, and Paul Burrell , who joined the royal household at Highgrove House in 1987 and acted as Princess Diana 's butler until her death in 1997, says it will be a day of reflection for the royal.
“I was anxious about 30, I’m excited about 40,” the Duke of Sussex told the BBC in a statement. "Whatever the age, my mission is to continue showing up and doing good in the world." Paul Burrell predicts Harry’s birthday will also be a time of reflection, as he continues to be "separated" from his family, now based in the US while his family remain in the UK.
Rumours of an alleged distance between the royal brothers Prince William and Prince Harry have been swirling for a number of years.
