An expert suggests that the long-standing feud between Prince William and Prince Harry may come to an end due to a potential 'game-changer'. The brothers have had disagreements in recent years, exacerbated by Harry's marriage to Meghan Markle and their move to California. Their various projects and revelations have further fueled the rift.
Prince William and Prince Harry have long been at loggerheads, with their alleged "deep rift" speculated to possibly come to an end because of a "game-changer", according to an expert.
Since moving to America, the Sussexes have worked on various projects where they spoke about their time as senior working royals within the Royal Family, with not all of the revelations positive. The couple famously sat down with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, with their docuseries, Harry & Meghan, coming out on Netflix in 2022. And then in 2023, Prince Harry released his bombshell memoir Spare, with all of these projects adding fuel to the fire of the rift.
Speaking in a new interview, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has said: "Serious illness is the big changer, despite everything that's happened, given the seriousness of the situation, anything can happen." He then noted how William is "under tremendous pressure, adding how serious illness can be a "game changer".
This comes as royal fans await Prince Harry's return to his homeland next month. The Duke of Sussex will fly from California to London next month for an Invictus Games event at St. Paul's Cathedral. Reports say that the Duke will even make a speech at the event, which will take place on May 8.
