The Prince of Wales is on his first official solo trip to the US this week and decided to go for a run in Central Park to break up his visit, where he bumped into some locals and tourists.
Prince William has been spotted shaking hands and joking around with locals as he took a jog through Central Park on his whistle stop visit to New York this week.
The 41-year-old prince also bumped into a group of 60-year-old women on a celebratory joint birthday trip and joked with them that they were a "rowdy" bunch. Rebecca MacEachern, 60, another member of the group was equally as charmed by the future King as she said that William joked: "Isn't 60 the rowdy age?"William was visiting with people near the FDNY Ten House, a fire station opposite the World Trade Centre, and was shown around by Laura Kavanagh for about 30 minutes, who also showed him a memorial of the six heroic firefighters from the station who lost their lives on 9/11.
The main purpose of his trip to the States was to present this year's finalists at Tuesday's Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit before the winners will be revealed during the awards ceremony later this year in Singapore. This trip was William's first official solo visit to the US and it's been reported that Kate Middleton will not be accompanying her husband to Singapore for the third annual Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony either.
