Award winner Kayleigh had both the audience and viewers in stitches after commenting on how well Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly had done for themselves
Newcastle-born Kayleigh Taylor had the Princes Trust Awards audience giggling after making a cheeky remark to fellow Geordies Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly as she accepted her award.
Ant and Dec then came over to Kayleigh to chat about her win, when she made a playful remark to the pair.Laughing, Kayleigh replied: “So have you!” as Ant and Dec began to chuckle at her sweet response. Someone else said: “I'm loving watching the #PrincesTrustAwards on TV - I knew they helped young people but had no idea of the all the fabulous ways they did so.”Another viewer said: “Very happy that the Prince’s Trust Awards are on TV this year! As a fellow young person, it’s so inspiring and motivational to see these resilient individuals overcoming challenges and transforming their lives with the support of the Prince’s Trust”.
“Now more than ever before we need to believe in our young people so they can believe in themselves,” he went on to say.The Duke of Cambridge added that he was “proud” of the evening’s winners, and thanked everyone for attending the prestigious event.Charles and Camilla touched down on the island of Newfoundland on 17 May, which was the first leg on their 72-hour visit which will see them travel a staggering 9,000 miles.
