Princess Bride actor Cary Elwes, 59, is 'bitten by a rattlesnake and has to be airlifted to a hospital'
Princess Bride actor Cary Elwes was reportedly bitten by a rattlesnake. The incident took place on Saturday when he was in his backyard in Malibu. The bite was so serious the star needed immediate medical attention. Elwes had to be airlifted to the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
It is not known what part of his body was bitten, TMZ reported on Monday. It was added by the site that his friends who came to the actor's aid felt that the poison from the bite was 'life-threatening'. But sources told the site Elwes made it through and will have a 'full recovery'. The star will soon have to work on the new film Rebel Moon.
