Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their second child, Buckingham Palace has announced
.
In a statement the Palace said: “Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce they are expecting their second child this summer.Eugenie, who is the daughter of Prince Andrew, confirmed the news on Instagram, where she shared a picture of herself with her first son, August, who was born in February 2021.
“We’re so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer,” she wrote on social media.The new baby will be her second child with bar manager Jack Brooksbank, who she married in 2019.He or she will be the first of the Queen’s great-grandchildren to be born after her death in September last year.
The news of the pregnancy comes during a difficult time for the Royal Family, following the Queen’s death and the controversy surrounding Prince Harry’s memoir.
