Several hundred people are attending a rally outside Leinster House in support of Israel.
Jackie Goodall of the Israel in Ireland Alliance told the rally that the spirit of the 1930's is present in Ireland and other countries.
She said Iran's calls to boycott Israel are reminiscent of calls to boycott Jews in Germany in the 1930s.Former Minister for Justice Alan Shatter addressed the rally and said Irish politicians need to stop lecturing Israel and to support it as it defends itself.
