Teams moved one step closer to a state championship Wednesday and now, it’s time to sort out the next round. Below are the projected pairings and matchups for the next phase of the NJSIAA/Rothman Orthopaedics Team Tournament, which is being contested Friday on two different timelines for the state’s public-school teams and non-public teams.
The public schools will wrestle in state semifinals in each of the NJSIAA’s five classifications while the non-publics will face off for sectional championships. Teams that advance Friday will wrestle again Sunday with a state championship on the line at Franklin High School.
