The man was removed by security after the incident
A man was led away by security after he gate-crashed the stage at the Labour Party Annual Conference 2023.
The Wirral South MP ended her opening speech with a defiant message as she stated Labour are ready for a general election. Ms McGovern said: "Conference, welcome to Liverpool and welcome to the fight of our lives." However, the microphone was cut off and the man was escorted away by security. The man's motivations for invading the stage remain unclear at this time.
