Rachel will be appearing on stage at food festival 'Cork on a fork' where she will prepare a quick 3-course meal that can be cooked in less than 45 mins
TV chef and author Rachel Allen needs no introduction, from writing multiple books, appearing on TV shows to teaching at the very successful Ballymaloe Cookery school, the mum-of-three leads a busy lifestyle. But away from the glamour and hard work, Rachel is first and foremost a loving, and at times, a worried mother. Her eldest son Joshua competes in Mixed Martial Arts while Lucca is a race car driver, not a career for the faint hearted.

Josh is doing more martial arts, he is doing a competition, I don’t like to call it a fight, so I say “a competition” at the end of September. I think he is hoping to go back to Thailand to do more training. He loves it.
Rachel is looking forward to taking part in this year’s Cork on a Fork where she will cook a three-course meal in 45 minutes. “It is a brilliant festival, in that there are so many events, so many are free, but you do have to pay for some. It runs from Wednesday until Saturday . I will be doing the cookery demonstration in Emmet Place at 1pm on Saturday. The day is jam- packed with great chefs, music and fun.” She explained.
