Newry deaths: PSNI confirm cause of deaths of girl, 15, and man found in flat
The bodies of Giselle Marimon-Herrera, 37, and her 15-year-old daughter Allison, were found in their Glin Ree Court flat in Newry yesterday, reports Belfast Live.
It is understood Giselle's sister alerted police after she had had no contact from her, and then accompanied PSNI officers to the property.A PSNI spokesman said tonight: "Following postmortems detectives can confirm that the cause of 15-year-old Allison Marimon-Herrera's death was strangulation. "Results are not definitive for Giselle, 37, however at this stage detectives believe there is a strong possibility she too was strangled.
"Results of a postmortem on the body of a 38-year-old man, who police believe was Giselle Marimon-Herrera's partner and who also lived at the Glin Ree Court, Newry, apartment, have concluded that he died by hanging."Our Irish Mirror Sports Page - which brings you all your Irish and UK sports news - can be found here. The Irish Mirror Twitter account is @IrishMirror while our sports page is @MirrorSportIE.
