Thousands of PTSB customers are unable to access their wages and other payments due to an IT problem affecting a third-party payments provider. The bank's online banking services are also inaccessible.
Thousands of people have been left without their wages and other various payments that were due today as PTSB state that they are dealing with the issue.
It comes after the bank has been hit with an IT problem resulting in customers being unable to access online banking services. They said: “Due to a technical issue with a third-party payments provider, some customers may be experiencing delays when sending or receiving SEPA payments. All other PTSB services are operating as normal.”
A PTSB spokesperson continued: “We are working hard to resolve the issue and expect it to be resolved for the majority of customers by mid-morning.
