Sean Heaney, a Preston pool player, agreed to let customers at The Sun Hotel wax his body in return for a donation to the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
Sean is a member of the pubs’ pool team and he raised £252 and was left with no eyebrows and patches of hair missing from his back, chest and legs.Historic Preston pub given protection
Hotel landlady Becky Alice said: “A number of customers have received treatment at Rosemere Cancer Centre and we wanted to show our support for the work being done there. “Sean was very brave to put his body on the line like this. We are grateful to him and everyone who donated.”
