It's Punchestown Gold Cup day as Fastorslow and Galopin Des Champs renew their rivalry at the Co Kildare venue.
Fastorslow got the better of the two-time Gold Cup winner in this race 12 months ago and also beat him here in the John Durkan back in November. But Galopin Des Champs has been awesome since, bolting up in the Savills Chase at Christmas before beating Fastorslow well in the Irish Gold Cup.He then made it back to back Gold Cup wins at the Cheltenham Festival, with Fastorslow unseating J J Slevin during the race, but I do think Martin Brassil's stablestar could beat his old rival once again today.
