The Department of Social Protection has warned that people could lose out on their payment unless they complete a form by Tuesday, July 20

More than 200,000 people claiming the Pandemic Unemployment have been warned they must confirm their eligibility in the next week.PUP recipients must log into their welfare account within the next seven days in order to confirm they are still eligible to receive the payment.

Social welfare officers regularly contact PUP recipients to ensure they are still eligible to receive the payment and that overpayments are not being issued. They confirmed that the deadline for eligibility to be confirmed is in just seven days' time on July 20. A team of social welfare officers and gardai have been busy over the past year checking that recipients qualify for the payments.
