Ukraine's defence minister has said that Vladimir Putin is planning to gather 500,000 troops as part of his plan to launch a new spring offensive.
Vladimir Putin is preparing to send 500,000 soldiers for a ‘major new offensive’,could launch a new attack to mark the anniversary of their invasion.Mr Reznikov said: ‘Officially they announced 300,000 but when we see the troops at the borders, according to our assessments it is much more.’
However Kyrylo Budanov, the head of Ukraine’s Main Military Intelligence Directorate , said Ukraine is preparing for its own counteroffensive and is intending to retake Crimea over the next few months. Sources have claimed Putin is ready to give the green light for a huge further invasion of Ukraine on the anniversary of war breaking out
