pageant will be split into four acts: For Queen and Country, The Time of Our Lives, Let's Celebrate, and Happy and Glorious.Image:The bells of Westminster Abbey will mark the start of a military parade featuring 1,750 people and 200 horses - which organisers say is one of the largest military spectacles in modern history.
About 150 celebrities - including Sir Cliff Richard, Dame Shirley Bassey, Gary Lineker, Noddy Holder, Idris Elba, Joe Wicks, Torvill and Dean, and even Basil Brush - will parade on open-top buses. Peppa Pig, The Teletubbies and six Wombles are among a celebration of children's TV characters, while six dames - including Floella Benjamin, Twiggy and Darcey Bussell - will travel in style in vintage Jaguars.Look out for Lambeth walkers, jivers, teddy boys, mods, glam rockers, punks, new romantics, ravers, Brit-poppers and junglists.
Key workers who were on the front line of the pandemic will take part in a performance with the Essex-based Kinetika group - and also look out for a comic slant on the Queen's love of corgis and horses by Coventry's Imagineer.Act IV: Happy and GloriousGet set for a rousing rendition of the national anthem in front of Buckingham Palace, where nearly 200 celebrities will join members of the public and Ed Sheeran to belt out God Save The Queen.
