There were no injuries reported in the blaze that engulfed the vehicle
A ‘quick-thinking’ bus driver rushed to ensure everyone on board the vehicle escaped safely after an engine caught fire.
Thankfully the driver jumped into action, making sure that everyone was safe as they organised a prompt evacuation of the vehicle, with no injuries reported to any of the passengers.Dublin Fire Brigade shared a picture of the shocking blaze, that had left the back of the bus black from flames as smoke bellowed out of the windows, with crew from Wicklow Fire Service also joining in to tackle the incident.
“A quick-thinking driver ensured that everyone was safe by organising a prompt evacuation. Working with crews from Fire Wicklow the fire was extinguished with no injuries reported.”
