Max took matters into his own hands in an attempt to combat the cost-of-living crisis 👏
The son of Sue and Noel Radford has been praised for coming up with a thoughtful gesture after he noticed that other school children had started to use food banks.
In the scene, Max said: "So dad, the cost of living crisis [has gone up]. The kids in my school are now starting to be affected by it and are now like using the food banks." The conversation led Max to ask what would be the best thing to give to a food bank and asking if anyone could donate. He also said the family could go and volunteer at a local foodbank as they are an 'army of 20'.
Sue noted: "It’s ridiculous, I’m sure I put £50 on that yesterday morning. This is getting beyond a joke, it really is ridiculous."
