Rammed full 'in half an hour' - the chicken shop that Blackpool has been waiting for
He has just opened his second restaurant in the seaside resort - Hip Hop Chicken, which is next door to Nico's debut and wildly-popular restaurant Stefani's Pizzeria. It was inspired by a visit to Manchester and a meal in trendy Northern Quarter venue Yard & Coop., who specialise in buttermilk fried chicken.
The 33-year-old added: "I've always wanted to open multiple restaurants and thought it would be pizzerias, but how wicked would it be to run the top pizzeria and chicken restaurant in Blackpool?" Hip Hop Chicken's interior is a funky, bold and colourful urban space, with open brickwork, neon strip lights, graffiti-style murals emblazoned on the walls and the menu is laced with dishes named after hip hop icons and rappers such as Eminem, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G and Snoop Dogg. Diners can get comfortable in a booth table or have ago on the retro arcade machine.
