Rangers striker Danilo has offered a positive update after undergoing a 'small surgery' for his head injury.
The Brazilian forward suffered a fractured cheekbone after a head collision with St Johnstone captain Liam Gordon.
Broadcast cameras picked up swelling on the striker's face and he was subbed off despite protesting that he wanted to play on.Danilo walked off the pitch alongside Rangers medical staff and was replaced by Abdallah Sima. Gordon too was subbed after the nasty collision with Sam McClelland his replacement.
After the match, Michael Beale had said: "It was a great finish from Danny [Danilo] and obviously, with the injury to the two players, the game stopped for a long time.
