Football Insider has been told by Frank McAvennie that Rangers have not upgraded their forward options after the players they lost this summer.
Rangers have downgraded their options up front after losing Alfredo Morelos and Antonio Colak., former Celtic striker Frank McAvennie suggested that fans are not happy with the new signings who are worse than the players the Gers let go this summer.
Morelos left Ibrox following the expiration of his contract whilst Colak joined Parma after just a year in Scotland. Michael Beale brought in several new attacking signings this summer after losing players like Morelos and Colak. Abdallah Sima joined on loan from Brighton whilst Sam Lammers, Danilo and Cyriel Dessers made the permanent switch to Ibrox., Sima found himself on the scoresheet in the League Cup win over Livingston on Wednesday , netting his fourth goal of the season for the Gers.But McAvennie has not been impressed with the new arrivals.
