More than a thousand people thronged the Slieve Russell Hotel on Thursday for Seán Quinn’s book launch, and for an hour before he arrived the bar was hopping, the stout was flowing, and copies of the book were being toted away in handfuls of two or three.
When the author entered the building, finally, he was mobbed at the door and cameras flashed like firecrackers.
