The reindeer will be in Lancashire from mid-November
Father Christmas has done one Lancashire farm a huge favour - and lent them his reindeer for the festive season. Cedar Farm in Mawdesley will be home to real reindeer from mid-November.
The reindeer will join the host of animals already living at the West Lancashire farm as it turns into a winter wonderland for Christmas. The venue, which is also a shopping, food and leisure complex, will welcome the reindeer from November 18. Other animals for visitors to meet include goats, llamas, turkeys, donkeys as the farm is transformed with an enchanting forest walk. Thousands of sparkling lights will twinkle in the trees as families walk along the magical pathway with Santa's elves ready to greet you.Tickets are limited and timeslots must be booked in advance. Each session lasts 45minutes and includes a visit to the enchanted forest and meeting the reindeer.
