Red Bull saw McLaren take a record that had lived in Milton Keynes for four years previously.
Red Bull mechanic Calum Nicholas says the team would “very much like it back” after losing their fastest pit stop record to McLaren.
But broken it has been with McLaren managing to change Norris’ tyres in McLaren just two one hundredths faster.“I’m not annoyed at McLaren,” he told the Sky Sports F1 podcast. “I’m not annoyed at McLaren at all. They have done a fantastic job. That’s the thing about the sport, t doesn’t matter where you’re at, there’s always someone chasing you.
Nicholas also took time to praise McLaren’s feat especially considering the weight of the wheels being heavier now then they were in 2019.
