The telecoms regulator said it is ‘concerned about the degree of uncertainty consumers face over future price rises’
It found that one in three customers is unaware of whether their providers will increase their tariff, or by how much. The review follows a push by consumer groups, which have urged broadband firms to drop penalties for customers leaving mid-contract due to fears of impending “exorbitant” price rises or exit fees of over £200.
