A 19-year-old woman seeks advice on how to navigate her relationship with a boyfriend whose religious beliefs prevent him from using condoms. She expresses concerns about unintended pregnancy, a lack of future prospects, and emotional distance within the relationship.
My boyfriend’s religion prevents him from wearing a condom, so we only have sex in my safe period. Despite this I am worried that I might get pregnant. I am only 19 and not ready for a family, and I am pretty sure that his religion takes an equally dim view of abortion. We’ve also not been together that long, so I am not confident he’s going to stay with me anyway. I know he has no interest in children.
He’s never said he loves me or shown me much affection, and we’ve started arguing about things recently. I really don’t want to get pregnant but don’t know what to do for the best
