Irish Lotto results: Remarkable bad luck as two players just miss out on multi-million euro jackpot

Two Irish Lotto players were just one number short of winning Wednesday night’s jackpot worth a life-changing €2,309,823.

The pair will have to console themselves with a prize of €18,022 each after correctly picking five of the six winning numbers, plus the bonus. Lotto bosses have also revealed 21 other players will each take home €1,029 after matching five numbers.
