The legendary character appears in the final season of the now iconic Channel 4 comedy.
The much loved character was played by Patrick McDonnell, who still has a stellar career in comedy years after appearing on the show. “At the time I thought I’d get recognised for a year and then I’d be forgotten but that’s not the case. “When you do something on television it might not be broadcast for six months after filming, and then you realise if it was funny or not. In those six months you just don’t know if what you’ve done is good or bad!
